On 8 February 2023 an investment forum entitled “Central Asia: a growing region for Spanish companies” was held in Madrid.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Spain (with residence in Geneva) Jamshed Khamidov has delivered a statement as a co-organizer of the event and provided information to the participants on the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan in various spheres, as well as favorable business climate and investment opportunities in tourism, industry, energy and other sectors.

Azərbaycan icması fəalları Madriddəki anım tədbirində iştirak ediblər

İspaniyanın paytaxtı Madriddə 20 Yanvar – Ümumxalq Hüzn Günü ilə əlaqədar anım mərasimi keçirilib.

Ölkəmizin İspaniyadakı səfirliyində təşkil olunan tədbirdə Madrid şəhərində işgüzar səfərdə olan Azərbaycan Dövlət Turizm Agentliyinin sədri Fuad Nağıyev, soydaşlarımız və ölkənin yerli media mənsubları iştirak ediblər.

Tədbiri giriş sözü ilə açan Azərbaycanın İspaniyadakı səfiri Ramiz Həsənov 1990-cı il yanvarın 19-dan 20-nə keçən müdhiş gecənin Azərbaycan tarixinə Qara Yanvar kimi daxil olub. Həmin gecə sovet ordusunun Azərbaycana qeyri-qanuni hərbi müdaxiləsi nəticəsində 147 mülki günahsız şəxs qətlə yetirilib, 744 nəfər ağır xəsarət aləb.

Nəzərə çatdırıb ki, faciədən bir gün sonra xalqımızın ümummilli lideri Heydər Əliyev bütün təhlükələrə baxmayaraq, Azərbaycanın Moskvadakı daimi nümayəndəliyinə gedərək, həmvətənlərimiz və mətbuat nümayəndələri qarşısında çıxış edib. Dahi şəxsiyyət ağır günlərdə xalqımızla həmrəy olduğunu bəyan edib, bu vəhşiliyi kəskin şəkildə pisləyib, Bakıda törədilmiş qırğına siyasi qiymət verilməsini və günahkarların cəzalandırılmasını tələb edib. Məhz onun təşəbbüsü ilə Milli Məclisin 1994-cü ilin fevralında keçirilən xüsusi sessiyasında 1990-cı il yanvarın 20-də günahsız insanların qəddarcasına qətlə yetirilməsi hərbi təcavüz və cinayət kimi qiymətləndirilib, 20 Yanvar tarixi Azərbaycanda Ümumxalq Hüzn Günü elan olunub.

“20 Yanvar faciəsi xalqımızın iradəsini sındıra, milli ruhumuzu sarsıda bilməyib. Prezident İlham Əliyevin də qeyd etdiyi kimi, 20 Yanvar tariximizin şərəf və qəhrəmanlıq səhifəsi, milli iradəmizin zəfər çaldığı gündür”, – deyə diplomat əlavə edib.

Sonra Azərbaycanın müstəqilliyi və ərazi bütövlüyü naminə canından keçmiş bütün şəhidlərin ruhu bir dəqiqəlik sükutla yad edilib və Ümumxalq Hüzn Gününə həsr olunmuş videoçarx göstərilib.

Tədbir çərçivəsində 20 Yanvar şəhidlərinin xatirəsinə həsr olunmuş fotosərgi təşkil edilib.

WKF President meets with PKF officials in Madrid
WKF President Antonio Espinós welcomed PKF President and WKF 1st Vice-president José García Maañón and PKF Treasurer and WKF Executive Committee member José Antonio Méndez to the WKF Headquarters in Madrid to review the situation of Karate in Pan America and around the world.

The meeting followed the World Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships and the WKF Congress which were held in Konya (Turkiye) last week where Mr Espinós was re-elected as the head of Karate’s international governing body and Mr García Maañón and Mr Méndez were both re-elected as WKF Executive Committee members.

Among the topics on the agenda were extending the progress of Karate in Pan America and a review of PKF’s main events for 2023, including the PKF Senior Championships to be held in San Jose (Costa Rica) in May 2023, the PKF Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships to take place in Santiago (Chile) in August 2023, and the Pan American Games to be held in Santiago (Chile) in November 2023.

WKF President Antonio Espinós said:

“It has been a pleasure to receive José and Tony in the WKF office in Madrid. At today’s meeting, we were able to discuss how much Karate has developed in the Americas over the years. There is still a lot of room for improvement, of course, but I am pleased to receive positive feedback on the promising prospects of Karate in the continent.

“I have encouraged Mr García Maañón and Mr Méndez to not be complacent and continue making their utmost to ensure that our sport keeps on growing all over the Americas. I want to express my gratitude to Mr García Maañón and Mr Méndez for their efforts, their support and for taking the time to visit our headquarters today.”
