On June 13, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sodiq Imomi received Ms. Eliza Fernandez Saenz, Deputy Regional Director of the United Nations for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women “UN Women” for Europe and Central Asia.

 

 

 

 

During the meeting, issues related to the development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and UN Women, as well as the implementation of the organization’s projects in Tajikistan, gender equality and the empowerment of women were discussed.

 

 

 

 

The parties expressed their readiness to further enhance the activities of the “UN Women” in Tajikistan.
